Frequency Tables

We made our very own frequency tables today! The students had certain criteria their frequency table must include. They had to have a title, organize their information, keep track of their data using tallies correctly (that included bundling a set of 5), and the information had to be accurate. The students got to choose their topics which they loved. Some chose to survey students on their favorite superhero, favorite shapes, and more. Others chose to keep track of the colors of their classmates shirts, types of shoes, and so on. Tomorrow they will create questions about their frequency table and their peers will answer their questions. The students are enjoying getting to be the "teacher" for this lesson. I am excited to see the types of questions they create!
